ANNEKA VAN DER VELDE

Producer - Creator - Performer

Anneka is a Canberra-based actor, theatre maker and producer. Since an early age, Anneka has been heavily involved in the theatre community, featuring in musicals and pantomime. 
In 2017, Anneka graduated from Perform Australia, Canberra, with a degree in Performing Arts. After graduating, she created and co-owned Limbo Theatre Company, successfully producing and performing in The Accidental Death of an Anarchist (2018) and The Good Doctor (2019). Anneka’s acting credits include Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare by the Lakes 2018), S.A.D. (Little Black Jacket Productions 2018), Revolt (The Street Theatre 2018), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream where she featured as Helena and Snout (Shakespeare by the Lakes 2020). 
Along with her long lasting infatuation with comedy, Anneka is also passionate about circus arts and clowning. Anneka has trained with The Fruit Fly Circus in their National Training Project where she trained in trampolining, teeterboard and tumbling.

ISABEL BURTON

Producer - Creator - Performer

Isabel is a Canberra/Sydney based actor and theatre maker. Originally appearing in productions of pantomime in her home town, Canberra, she displayed skills in music theatre and contemporary dance. With her passion for theatre, she then moved to Wollongong and where she graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Performance (Distinction).
During Isabel’s studies, she focused on movement-based theatre, dramatic text and the voice. She featured in dramas such as Macbeth (2017), in which she played Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Macduff & more, Tilt (2017), The Causality Principle Between Love and Hate (2018) and Parliament Square (2018).
Soon after graduating, Isabel starred in her debut performance, the critically acclaimed one woman show Unbecoming (2019) by Cathy Petocz at the Canberra Theatre Centre. Later the same year, Isabel appeared as Judith Noone in the Australian Premier of Belfast Girls (Echo Theatre 2019).
As well as drama and physical theatre, Isabel also specialises in singing and speech, with aspirations of expanding her practice into Voiceover acting.
